This cottage is unique in that it is designed to look like a small barn and located next to the stables on the site of the original “Milkshed” from the Stewart era. It was constructed in 2004 for the present owners of Oak Alley Restaurant & Inn and refurbished in 2017 to serve as an overnight cottage.
It features two bedrooms (one room with a King-size bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress, the other with a Queen-size bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress), and two full baths. The master bath features double vanity sinks, shower with 2 shower heads and body sprays and a closeted commode. The second bath features a Jacuzzi style spa tub/shower. Each bath is furnished with a hair dryer and luxury waffle monogram robes. The living/dining/kitchen area is an open format with cathedral ceiling and exposed beams. The full kitchen is equipped with a range/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and of course all the makings. The utensils required to prepare meals are provided. Wireless internet and cable-TV are available throughout the cottage. The living area has a 60” TV and each bedroom is equipped with 32” TV's. Iron and ironing board are also provided.
This cottage provides great views from it’s front balcony and a secluded back balcony. You also have a double car carport and patio area for enjoying the sounds of nature.
