About the Overnight Cottages and Rates


Oak Alley Plantation Restaurant & Inn will be offering table service beginning Friday, May 15, 2020.  

Table service will follow state guidelines to help mitigate the spread of  COVID-19. The adjacent historic grounds, gardens and exhibits  are OPEN and admissions required.

The Gift Shop will be open with adjustments to accommodate social distancing for both customers and staff.

Overnight cottage stays

Overnight guest are invited to enjoy a stay in either one of our century old cottages or newly constructed deluxe cottages located on the grounds, not far from the historic grounds, gardens and exhibits. The settings provides for a safe environment with vast open spaces.

They are comfortable and secure in an uncluttered and quiet setting. All rooms are equipped with central air conditioning and heat, game boards for your entertainment, refrigerator, microwave, basic utensils, coffee maker and of course the makings: wireless internet, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and luxury waffle monogram robes. Cottages are also furnished with Tempur-Pedic mattresses for a most restful night's sleep. Most have Cable T.V., but check individual cottages to see the amenities available in each.

Check in: 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Check out: 11:00 a.m. (12 p.m. with Do not Disturb Package - see Packages).

Special arrangements must be made for those guests who cannot arrive before 9:00 p.m.

Reservation Policies:   A credit card for validation of room rental must be guaranteed by MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express.  Your credit card will be charged in full at time of check-in.

Cancellations are honored via telephone by calling 800-442-5539. Cancellations are not honored if sent via emailWe have a 14 day cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation 14 days or more prior to your arrival date, there is a $30 charge, per night, for cancellations. If reservations are cancelled within the 14 day period before your arrival date, the full amount will be charged to your credit card. If we are able to re-rent the room, your card will be refunded for that amount, minus the $30 cancellation fee. 

Please make special note:  Out of respect for all guests. Cottages 5A & 5B welcome adult only guests (18 years & older).  Should you arrive with a child to stay in Cottages 5A & 5B, your reservation will not be honored and you will forfeit the full payment for your reservation.

Cottage 7 is our the Handicap Accessible unit.  

When making reservations, you may purchase a romantic cheese and fresh fruit tray, bottle of wine or champagne to have in your room awaiting, your arrival for that evening stroll under the oaks. Evening meals may be purchased and delivered to your room.

Holiday Reservations: 

Overnight cottages are open year round.  On major holidays (New Year's Day, Mardi Gras Tuesday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) the "Big House", Restaurant and Gift Shop are closed and 2 day minimum stay maybe required.   A continental breakfast will be placed in your cottages on these days.  Other meals may be arranged ahead of time, please inquire upon making reservations on major holidays.
