Oak Alley Plantation, Restaurant & Inn commissioned fine-art photographer and writer, Willam Guion to create a book that offers past and current visitors as well as indivuals who've yet the opportunity to explore the grounds & exhibits of Oak Alley an opportunity
to witness the iconic landscape.
Mr. Guion has photographed the landscape of Louisiana for more than three decades. His black-and-white and colored landscape images and "tree portraits" portray the oaks elegantly, revealing the majestic and mystical qualities of this Southern icon.
His prints are contained in a variety of corporate and private collections across the country as well as the public collections of the Louisiana Folk life Museum, the Louisiana State Museum and the New Orleans Museum of Art.
